These fractured fables weave 6 of our favorite Aesop’s fables together with each having a new twist. We all know the story of “The Tortoise and the Hare” or “The Fox and the Grapes”, but what if the Hare is so obsessed with exercising that the race almost doesn’t happen? Of maybe it happens, but the Hare misses out on something much more important than winning a race. What if a Bunch of Grapes thinks she is so clever that she can take care of herself in almost any situation?
These beloved stories have characters coming in and out of the regular stories and even audience members may get pulled into the action of the story. Every story is interactive.
The cast and crew are made up of performers from 7-16 and everybody has a part to play. The play is not only acted by students, but it is also student produced. The sets, costumes, lighting and sound are all planned out and run by students.
Come on and join in on the fun and maybe learn some lessons about life and how much fun the theatre is.
