The Trials of Robin Hood

Written by Will Averill
Performed by special arrangement from Playscripts
Co sponsored by Jones Foundation, Civic Lubbock and CH Foundation.

Upon his return from the Crusades, King Richard is forced to try and figure out what happened to his kingdom during his absence. Is the outlaw Robin Hood a hero, a lovelorn sap, or just plain goofy? Told from the perspectives of Robin himself, Maid Maiden, and the Sheriff of Nottingham, this hilarious tale combines three different stories into one, leaving it up to the audience to choose which story is true and determine the ending. This family friendly classic tale will be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
